Granted, these are not as festive as the last pair of shoes we posted, but bear with us!
Our friends over at BabyStyle understands exactly how our minds work. We here at BabyBought really, really like lists. Lists are good. List keep you organized. Lists help you get the job done.
To that effect, BabyStyle has a list - The Top 5 Shower Gifts.
Apparently, lists also help you find unique and interesting baby shower gifts for that expecting Mom in your playgroup, too. We wholeheartedly agree with that notion!
At the top of the list are these cute leather shoes made just for that little one in your life. The leather is soft and breathable, and the cuffs are elastic. The strong elastic helps you Moms out there easily slip the cute shoes onto baby’s foot, but also helps keep them on said foot (in other words, baby won’t easily kick or pull these shoes off).
We consider that a good thing, because with shoes this good you wouldn’t want junior leaving them behind someplace would you? Some other baby might be styling his shoes!
Only $26 at BabyStyle.com.

Another cute baby blanket, this time from Red Envelope.
The quilting is inspired by 1930’s and 40’s children’s books, and comes with 200 thread count 100% cotton with an all-cotton backing.
Comes in two different colors, naturally pink for girls and blue for boys. Both are backed in yellow.
It measures in at 37″ by 48″. Use it until baby out grows it, then use the available adjustable quilt rod to hang it in his or her room. You may also personalize this blanket with embroidery — up to 25 characters on two lines. Would be perfect to add baby’s name and birth date.
$98 at Red Envelope.

Once again we’re bringing you stylishly cute baby bibs for your little one. These Vintage Print Necktie Bibs are available at Uncommon Goods ($20). Normally we don’t like to simply share the description from the websites, but this we thought was just too good not to share.
Chic babies know that for some occasions, typical bib motifs are simply gauche. That’s why these fashion-forward necktie bibs are so popular with our most discerning (and youngest) customers. Comes in both striped and 50’s space exploration patterns, made of machine washable terrycloth. Handmade in New York.

Run a sophisticated household? Is your growing little one maturing quickly?
Add the Fun Fishies Chair and Ottoman (”Something’s fishy about this furniture!”, reads the website) to her growing room collection. Don’t be fooled — this is a kid’s chair. This is not for you. Well, it might be for some of you who weigh less than 150 pounds, which is the maximum weight limit.
Don’t miss the chocolate piping around the blue fabric, all surrounding solid wood framing. Comes with a matching cute little ottoman. Appropriate for ages 12 months and up.
$99 at BabyStyle (+$20 shipping surcharge).

BabyBought exists for all of you busy Moms out there. We know there are times when you’ve got to cook dinner, fold the laundry, let the dog out, and if you are lucky, maybe, just maybe sit down for five minutes every once and a while.
Yet during those brief moments of rest, you can’t just abandon baby. Of course, you’ll sit with your radio monitor and listen for any strange noises, ready to leap into action if necessary.
That is, if this was 1992.
Welcome to the 21st century, Moms! With this 2.4 Ghz Wireless Baby Camera (and handheld monitor), you don’t have to worry what this noise or that noise was coming from the crib. Just look at the LCD screen with clear picture and sound, and you’ll know whether or not to keep those feet kicked up or not. The system supports up to 3 cameras, and can be used at distances of 100 feet (obstructed, like in a house), or 300 feet (unobstructed).
Only $57.99 at Overstock. Regular price $99.99!

When we first saw this machine, and the advertisement that came with it, all we could say was “unbelievable”! Are these folks serious?
Apparently, the good people at Brookstone are indeed serious.
Trying to lose some weight from your recent pregnancy? Trying to get those abs back into shape? Try Brookstone’s iGallop Core and Abs Exerciser. Yes, they called it the iGallop, as if some Apple engineers went to a Texas bar and reinvented the bull riding machine.
There really isn’t much else we can say about the iGallop other than it might be a hit with husbands. $499 at Brookstone.

You could wrap your new infant in a standard, colorful blanket and no one will think wrong of you. However, you do have other options.
At least, that is what the folks over at
Affirmagy believe. Can you blame them, with a tag line like “Live Intentionally”?
Affirmagy is offering fleece and cotton blankets with affirming words and phrases printed on them. The one to the right here is for baby boys and includes phrases like “I am unique”, “I am a bundle of joy”, and “I am a true miracle”.
For only
$19.99 (for cotton,
$24.99 for fleece), you can make a positive statement to the world. And perhaps, too, you’ll be reminded of those phrases in the midst of your 2:00AM run to the baby room.

During this holiday season, much will be wasted in terms of energy (driving to the mall), materials (all that wrapping paper that is used only once), and time (away from family at the mall).
Why not give a more green gift this year?
Enter TofuBear ($39 from South West Trading Company). Made from waste created during the food process to create tofu, TofuBear is just as soft, if not softer, than the average bear. The stuffing is still your standard hypoallergenic material, so no worries there.
Wouldn’t you love to teach your little one a lesson on being a responsible citizen of the planet? Or you could buy him because he’s just so darn cute!
