It’s simple. Babies like plush dolls. Pile them up in the crib, the corner, or let your little one scatter them around the house.
The Cookie Monster. You grew up with him on Sesame Street. So did we!
“Cookie! EHRJTRJR [Cookie munching sounds]!”
This Cookie Monster plush from BabyAge is 12 inches tall, and as soft as one would expect a plush to be. The only additional note we would add is that it is recommended for ages 2 and up.
Only $12.99 at BabyAge!

Five days per week our staff brings you unique, interesting products. Most of these products are new products made from new materials. We also happen to be fans of green design here at BabyBought. Namely, products made in green ways, with green materials.
Today we bring your some cute stuffed animals made from recycled sweaters.
The recycled material is exceptionally soft and baby will sure to be a big fan of cuddling up next to either the cute elephant or wooly lion.
There is a note on this product that the colors on your order may not match the color pictured above. This is due to the recycled nature of the product — and we love it!
Mom, pick up this earth friendly toy at UncommonGoods for only $26/each.

Well shoot fire! What boy could resist this manly savings bank?
Piggy bank? Yea, that sounds like something a boy can be proud of. Front Loadin’ Tractor Bank? I think you know which one he would like better.
The best part about this savings bank — which holds coins — is that it actually works! The wheels roll, and the shovel goes up and down too.
This thing has a lot of detail on it… grooves in the tires, mesh grill, exhaust pipe… and you can monogram it too to make it extra special.
The only thing lacking is the tractor noises. And we think maybe… just maybe you won’t have to worry about that one either once he lays eyes on this bank.
$19.95 at The Corner Stork.

This unique toy was developed by an early-childhood educator who also happens to be a mother of three.
Both the blanket and the ball are made of soft fabric that is easy to grab onto, and little fabric tags stick out of both to attract baby’s attention. The ball also has a rattling chime inside of it.
To give a bit of scale, the ball is about 7″ in diameter, and the blanket is 12 inches square. Both are machine washable, because who knows how to hand wash a fleece ball?
Soft, squishable, colorful, and interesting… what Mom wouldn’t want to have their infant playing with this!
Only $40 at Red Envelope.

During this holiday season, much will be wasted in terms of energy (driving to the mall), materials (all that wrapping paper that is used only once), and time (away from family at the mall).
Why not give a more green gift this year?
Enter TofuBear ($39 from South West Trading Company). Made from waste created during the food process to create tofu, TofuBear is just as soft, if not softer, than the average bear. The stuffing is still your standard hypoallergenic material, so no worries there.
Wouldn’t you love to teach your little one a lesson on being a responsible citizen of the planet? Or you could buy him because he’s just so darn cute!

For the slightly older ‘baby’ on your list comes the Mountain Boy Sledworks ‘Classic Flyer’ ($118.99) from our friends at BabyAge.
Doesn’t this remind of you of the days of frolicking through the snow, your only care was trying to catch as many snowflakes in your mouth as possible? This sled takes us back to the good old days of rocketing down hill with absolutely no control. Go up hill. Sled down hill in whatever direction the sled ends up going in.
This is where the Sledworks Classic Flyer is different. Made of birch planks, a very basic and simple modification of a pivot point in the front has been added. Yes, dear Moms, the neighborhood children can now steer!
And with free shipping on all orders over $50, it comes to your door for free.
